As for your question, as others have said, its a mystery. Ask any Rezound owner if they thought the price was going to drop so much within 3 months of the phone coming out. I'm sure they'd all say if they could have saved $100 by just waiting a couple months they would have.
With that said, I'd assume once sales start to trickle (as this is a popular phone), the price will take the typical $50 steps down within 2012, not including sales and specials here and there. But, Moto has also said that its phone plans for the year include expanding on the Razr line. So, if they come out with, say, an HD Razr (with a true HD screen) at some point (just speculation as to where the line could go), I'd assume you'd see a price drop then as well.
