Anyone anticipate a price drop?

Of course there will be a price drop, there is just no telling when. If you can get a good deal, go for it. But waiting for a price drop is like waiting for a better phone, you know it'll happen but you never know when.

I wouldn't pay $300 for it at this point if it were me, but if you find it for $200 or less then you should definitely go for it.

Amazon Wireless has it for $229. That's how I got my device.

As for your question, as others have said, its a mystery. Ask any Rezound owner if they thought the price was going to drop so much within 3 months of the phone coming out. I'm sure they'd all say if they could have saved $100 by just waiting a couple months they would have.

With that said, I'd assume once sales start to trickle (as this is a popular phone), the price will take the typical $50 steps down within 2012, not including sales and specials here and there. But, Moto has also said that its phone plans for the year include expanding on the Razr line. So, if they come out with, say, an HD Razr (with a true HD screen) at some point (just speculation as to where the line could go), I'd assume you'd see a price drop then as well.

Price will drop for sure. Thats the thing with technology, if you want the latest and greatest then you have to pay. But if you want to wait for the price to drop, it might take a while to the point where a new version comes out. There isn't really an in-between with technology.
