Anyone been able to get the flash notification to work?

I was able to get the flash notification to work when I first got my Tab S then it stopped. I went ahead and rest the Tab S to a factory image and turned it on again and it worked once then stopped. Has anyone experienced this, or been able to get this to work consistently. Nice to have the flash act as a notifier since out Tab S's dont have a front led.
