Anyone downloaded the updated Camera app ?

There is an update to the camera app in the Google Play Store. Its v 8.50.917991 updated 05/08/17. The reviews on Google have been less than stellar. Anyone tried it? I dont find the camera works as well as it did when I first got the phone.

I've had the update since May 8. No issues.
