Anyone else getting extremely low 3G/4G upload speeds?

So I've been doing regular speed tests on my mobile network performance, and so far my 3G and 4G download speeds are pretty good. At home (far southside of Chicago) with a weak signal, I'm getting 300-400kbps on 3G, and 1000-1500kbps on 4G. At school (near downtown Chicago) I'm getting 600-800kbps on 3G, and as high has 6.8Mbps on 4G.

The problem I'm having is that my upload speeds are complete crap. No matter the signal strength, I'm getting 30-40kbps on 3G. My 4G upload ranges from 400kbps to as much as 1.5Mbps. My WiFi speeds are normal.

I really have no idea what would be causing this, other than Sprint's network being crappy. I was getting at least 100kbps on 3G upload with my old Samsung Replenish though. My ROM/Kernel setup is on the side if that might have something to do with it. Hardware wise, I'm running pretty well, getting 2700-2800 range scores in Quadrant (O/C'ed to 1.2ghz)

Is anyone else having extremely low upload speeds? I'm wondering if the issue is my location, my phone, or just Sprint.

WiMax or LTE 4G? if ur phone is LTE, then they may have data issues if they are doing upgrades in ur local area. I'm in Dallas, on the GSIII, it drove me crazy for weeks.

His is WiMax.

Anyways, I'm in Houston and just did a Speed Test on 4G. 4.31 down and 1.06 up. That's about right on par of what I normally get.

There is no LTE on NS4G.

I guess it's more the 3G upload that I'm concerned about, my last speed test with good coverage netted 27kbps

Sprint's got pretty crappy speeds for just about everyone right now. It's not just those with the NS4G.

Sprint's speeds are just not good right now for anyone.

I'm sitting here with my Nexus S 4G with Sprint and my Galaxy Exhibit 2 4G on T-Mobile, my Exhibit is blazing and nexus s is slow as molasses.

Sprint is going to have to really do better.
