I just got a message on my Atrix 4G today stating that there is a system upgrade to 4.5.145 available and it's 27.1MB and it improves the GPS location accuracy... no mention of anything else that I can tell, but is anyone else getting this? Does this mean we're going to be getting something better than 2.3.6 in the near future?

Yep.... downloading / installing now. Hope we find out what "else" it means besides the explanation on the screen!

Yeah I got the message too and went online looking for information about it. A couple of weeks back on Feb. 5, Cameron Summerson posted that this update would not be Ice Cream Sandwich. That's too bad as I think ICS would be a nice upgrade for the Atrix 4G. The update does contain improvements for Google Maps/Nav as well as latest Google security patches. Below is the message from AT&T. I also included the link to the Release Notes.

Message says:
Update available

I forgot I had installed Rootkeeper and it worked just great. Back to root.

I issue with the update that I found is that it seems to kill the battery much quicker. Hmmmm

I noticed that too, however I didnt correlate it with the update, i thought it was because i rooted my phone shortly thereafter. But yes the battery life seems to go down much faster, to help I've disabled the GPS and BT when I'm not using them.

I just updated to this version yesterday and I'm noticing my battery meter is always fully charged. I downloaded a 3rd party battery meter and it always says 98%, even after I play a few games. Anyone else having this problem?

Tried to download it locked my motorola atrix up. Called motorola said for $109 they would fix it. Have a new samsung phone now.
