Anyone else have issues with Exchange ActiveSync on Email?

Hi

I have my outlook.com account on my phone with Exchange ActiveSync. It was working fine with my contacts, calendar and email.

However now with my email only it says Cannot connect to open server at the top when I try to refresh.

When I go to accounts there is an exclamation mark by the email option to sync and it says experiencing problems at the top to.

It's been like this for a day now.

Anyone else experiencing this? Or has?
 
Did you already try removing the Outlook account and adding it back? Are you using 2 factor authentication?
 
Have you tried the Microsoft Outlook app? (Remember, Microsoft can make changes to outlook.com without telling anyone - and cause all sorts of problems. But they [normally] keep their updated app in sync with their server.)
