Anyone else having too many issues

My phone has been junk as well. The OS continues to freeze up and I have to force close the default sms app at least 10 times a day. (Every 4 or 5 received messages.) And that is without a 3rd party sms app. Also, I have noticed that the gallery is retarded slow. I literally have to wait 15-20 seconds after pushing on a pic or folder before it will open. Is that normal for this phone? Geez I hope not. I am taking it up to VZW store after work today it get a replacement.

That sounds like the best thing to do as you should'nt be experiencing those force closes like that. Neither my fiance or I have had that happen outside of a third party app.

I went into a VZW Store, and the guy told me that ONLY motorola sells them, and essentially turned around and walked away.

oh well, too late now.

Thanks

well, today has been a great day with the phone... no crashes, no closes, no nothing. Once I get the battery cover, I will be loving life again.

I spent 2 hours at the VZW store yesterday and had to go back in 3 times. But I think I have a working phone now. First, he gave me a new phone and put the sd card from the first phone into the new phone...same issues. Everything was very laggy. So I went back in and he took it for about 45 minutes into the back room. Came back out and said here try it now. He backed up the sd card and then put everything onto a new sd card and put it in the phone. Good to go! Not the first time I have seen a bad sd card. I had one with my BB curve that as soon as I put it in the phone, the phone slowed down so bad it took almost 5 minutes just to dial a phone number. Took it out, phone was super fast. Same issue with this sd card and my droid. So I was happy and went out to my car and called my girlfriend. As Im talking on the phone with her, the battery door falls into my hand. I didn't move the phone at all while it was against my ear. The door just fell off. So, I put it back on and noticed it was very very loose. So I went back in and showed the guy. He got the manager (who was a prick) and he goes into the back room with my phone for about 20 minutes. Comes back out and tells me thats the way all of them are. He just opened up a new one in the box and thats how the battery door fits. So I have to deal with it. Im like...ummm that was rude. I paid $200 for this phone, I expect a little better quality out of it and better costumer service to go along with it. So stormed out of there planning on going to the store about 30 minutes away to see if they can help with the battery door as I damn near lost it last night when it fell off in my car. But instead, after I almost lost it, I bent the little tabs on the door, in a little so it catches firmly now.

I haven't noticed any problems yet with my Droid. I really find it to be an amazing device on many levels.

It sucks, ezflip, that you were treated like that from the manager. It is not how all of them are because I have had no problems with my battery door thus far. Some people really need to incorporate sensitivity training into their stores. I'm glad it the door worked out for you in the end.
