anyone else nexus 6p unlocking with wrong finger

i lock phone put wrong finger on sensor and wont unlock but if i push power button screen turns on lock screen put wrong finger and slider screen up it will unlock even when it says not recognized

Welcome to Android Central! Go to Settings>Security>Automatically Lock. What interval is that set to? If it's 2 minutes, for example, that means that the screen will still be unlocked for up to 2 minutes after the screen times out. So if you were testing this out within that period of time, the screen wasn't locked in the first place. Try changing the Automatically Lock interval to Immediately, and see if it still happens.
