anyone else seeing camera freeze ups?

I've definitely noticed the lag issue in the camera is not consistent for me. sometimes it happens, then not for days. It seems to only happen to me in low light situations but that could be a coincidence.

I've seen it get a bit confused when I use power button double tap, I assumed that's what this issue was. I definitely don't have what's illustrated in the video though.

There is a bunch of posts on Reddit about this with the Note 9. I've started to see this on mine now in both camera and video mode typically under low light. Using internal memory not an SD card.

Yes, it happens on mine. I actually don't take alot of pictures bit it still bothers me.

It also affects other apps. I have a hard time with using the Sam's app. the camera freezes all the time.

It happens to my Note 9 sometimes, started just a few weeks ago, maybe once or twice a week.
The other problem I've noticed is that when the display is off, pressing the power button twice doesn't work or works only to turn the camera app off and takes you back to the display on showing the lock screen or just turning the display off, like you never pressed the power button!
It's not to a point that it bothers me, but I'm just worried, since I've grown accustomed to bring up the camera and take pictures or videos very quickly since the GS6 edge, that if I get into a situation where I need to take a picture quickly and this issue happens, I won't be able to use my phone's camera!

Yes! I came here just to find a post about this. When taking videos the camera will stop recording after a few seconds then say Recording failed. It is quite frustrating especially when trying to capture a moment to look at again later.

Mine has gotten so bad it's just about unusable.

I have started using the Camera FV-5 app just to be able to take photos. I like the app but it doesn't have any of the stock features like Live Focus. At least I can take good photos without the freezing.

Happened while I was in the Instagram app moments ago, which uses the system camera. Never happened with my 8.

So my camera got to a point where taking video was not good at all.
It would freeze several times in less then a minute while recording.
When reviewing the video, it looked like everything paused but sound kept on!
Anyway, I got this update on Oct 31 and since then, my camera issues are apparently gone.
More testing is require but, so far it's good. Hope it stays that way!
My Note 9 it's with Sprint, don't know if the rest of you got the update yet.
