Anyone else with the ADB device not found when flashing?

I am getting this. As soon as it drops to recovery mode, the phone disappears from the device list completely.

Try going into download mode. You don't flash from recovery mode (unless the Nexus is different than other phones).

Okay, the computer sees the device when it is pulgeed in with ADB DEVICES.

When I get to the step to reboot the phone with the volume down amd power button, the computer no longer sees it with ADB DEVICES.

It is unable to ADB REBOOT BOOTLOADER because it is not found with the devices command.

I downloaded WUG, same exact issue. Once it goes to that menu, my computer loses it. All drivers are up to date

I used a third party driver, it worked with Wug. Sheesh. That was a lot of effort!

Just an FYI for anyone else. I also had this issue and when the phone was in recovery, I unplugged then replugged the USB and ADB Devices showed up in Device Manager.
