Anyone else's notification LED stop blinking after a while?

My notification LED only blinks for maybe 15 minutes after a new notification has arrived, then it goes back to off. When I turn the phone on I see there are still notifications though. Anyone else have this issue?

I haven't noticed really, as when my notifications start blinking I typically check the messages pretty quickly. Coming from a Berry I think I like it not blinking so now have it turned off as it's annoying with the amount of stuff I have coming in. I always check my phone every few minutes anyways.

Maybe they will add into android an led timer setting where people can adjust how long it flashes how fast etc etc.

From other threads, the led seems to turn off after about 5 minutes. Lame.
