I really want to be encrypted but I really want to be able to disable my pin lockscreen at home.

As far as I know this is impossible.

Anyone encrypted (not due to an exchange policy) and able to turn off lockscreen?

That's impossible on Android without rooting, as far as I know. Encryption requires either PIN, password or (I think) NFC unlock, you cannot disable the lockscreen, and - also annoying - you cannot have a password for encryption and a PIN for unlock. The unlock code also is used to open the decryption key when you restart the phone.
