I was at work and charging the phone with a Verizon vehicle charger, and using the phone at the same time. I was watching a YouTube video (rather long video) and the phone was red hot. Looked at the battery stat screen and it showed "overheated" and 51?C or so.... That's like 125?F!!

Anyone ever experience this or have any suggestions?

I plan on getting the 1A charger as someone suggested but had a question about that as well. If my verizon charger is say 750 or so won't the 1A overheat it even more/faster?

Thanks in advance.

Not sure it was the charger... If you were running in the car mode where your gps is always updating your position and you were streaming youtube videos I could see how your phone got that warm. I notice that when using the navigation or car dock mode my phone gets pretty warm. Also if it was a sunny day or the cars heat could also help the phone reach pretty warm temps. I would just stop watching youtube while driving jk.

I think I had an issue once running radio.com app and playing a game at the same time with charging via wall charger. My led light started to alternate between orange and green and the phone felt hot to the touch. Is there a overheating issue with the phone possibly?

Seems to be I guess. I mean I used to use my DX while charging and it may have gotten warm.... Hot even. But I couldn't fry an egg on the damn thing lol.
