Anyone find an extremely thin case or bumper?

I like bumpers or very thin cases like the ones from bear motion. Amazon has nothing but chunky cases.

Anyone have any luck? Id prefer not to make this phone that much bigger with the case if possible.

Thanks!

Diztronic has 5X cases. Don't know if you consider those chunky though....

Incipio and Spigen might have cases that fit your needs...

I have a Diztronic TPU case. Have used one of these on every phone for the last handful of years. They work GREAT.

Search for Spigen cases on Amazon. They make a really thin one that I have on order. I used the equivalent case on my S5 for a year and a half and really liked it.

Spigen. Definitely. I've owned one for my N5, iPhone 6, Galaxy S6 and ordered one sight-unseen for my N5x. It's legit. Very thin, good coating and durable.

Here's the link to Amazon. Only $12.

I've had cases like this in the past, and the one thing I've never liked is that at the bottom edge of the case, it usually has a sharp edge. So when I hold my phone in one hand, my pinky finger is holding the weight of the device. And these edges usually dig into my finger. Does this case do the same thing?

Mine doesn't creak at all. Nice, solid and tight fit. I also have the Spigen Exact Fit and while both are thin, the Ringke is a touch thinner and both feels and looks better on the phone in my opinion.

nope didnt notice any creaking. its a hard material, but being so thin it def has a little give to it. holding it, it actually feels pretty similar to the back of my nexus 5, although the 5 is just a tad more grippy. I've only been using it for a day but so far i like it. very hard to notice its even on there but i like that its raised just enough to protect the camera and screen. I ended up buying nexus protect so while I obviously don't want to have to use the deductible any time soon on a new phone, i also opted to not go so extreme on case protection and this seems to be a good choice for me

EDIT- in reply to co.ag.2005.. forgot to quote

I've got a Spigen but don't like the fact that the top and bottom edges aren't protected so I'm trying a Ringke.

from my experience, ringke is better for the reason you stated. plus it comes with a free screen protector. I have actually stopped using these thin cases and gone with a tpu case for 2 reasons. one is that these thin cases are not easy to take off, and easily broken if you take them off often. second reason is that they don't give very good protection. I have found a thin tpu case gives much better protection and easier to take off if need to. since the nexus 5x is already pretty thin, i don't mind adding a little thickness to it.

have you found a good TPU case? I usually go with Diztronic but doesn't look like they have any available on Amazon.

I dont mind the added thickness - but what I'm more concerned with is added width. How much wider is it?

My Spigen came today. I like it, it's just like my one for the S5. It adds some grip and just makes the phone feel more secure in my hand. I understand people's concerns over the level of protection it may provide and I admit it may not do as well as other cases in the event of a catastrophic fall. However I mainly just want it for normal wear and tear, as well as to have something to stick the metal plate behind for my magnetic car mount.

I usually go with them also, but their case isn't available right now. I ordered a Cimo case and it's on the way, but i heard it doesn't have a cutout for the bottom microphone. If that's true, I will probably return it. right now the google official cases are looking pretty tempting, just can justify spending 35 for it.

The Cimo case is definitely the thinnest by what they posted. It's 2.9 in wide which is equal to 73.66 mm, the phone itself is 72.6 mm. I am kind of suspicious of their spec on amazon since the ringke case is listed 3 in wide. i doubt a tpu case is thinner than the Ringke.
