I am not thrilled by the narrow profile of the folded phone. And the skyrocketing potential price of any of the potential Pixel 9's is stratospheric!

When I first got the fold 3 it was a WOW then going to the Fold 4 I already settled in and the Fold 5 came along like the improvements and now waiting for Fold 6 with its small improvement, so already into the foldable for awhile no more wow factor just like the improvements even small ones , the pixel is a great foldable just need a lot more customization and they need to make it stay flat while open in next generation that was a little bothersome to me then anything else .

After holding and playing with the Z Fold 6, I decided to let go Pixel Fold. I miss too many things on one UI. See you guys around.

I’m going to switch to Samsung for this year.. it’s been a good phone for me and I truly enjoyed the Google fold but decided time to move till the next one

Toying with that myself...

I've got an upgrade due and may as well take advantage of the offer I've been given...

It's just whether to stick with Google and wait for their next Fold and see how that is, or take a punt at the Z Fold 6...

However; my Fold is such a good phone, I wonder if I need to do the upgrade/move or just see it out until the next iteration this time next year etc

I’m thinking unless you have a great deal for the Fold 6 waiting might not be a bad idea ..I have the P8P as well so will be checking what happens with Google come release time too

TBH I'll be waiting as they'll have the new Pixel Fold as well; so can decide then once I've watched a few comparison videos on YT etc...

I don't want to order either and regret it; IF I order...

The Pixel Fold does such a good job for me currently; I may forgo it and be greedy and go for the 16PM haha

My decision on the next phone will be for the wider of the two, hopefully a format just like the current Pixel Fold. I won't be buying a phone for a while, as I just got a Z Fold 5 and a Pixel Fold. A lot can change by the time I buy a phone.

I may have not found it yet but I don't see dimensions for the Fold9 or a comparison of it and the Pixel Fold.

I want to know what they've done with the closed screen size which will also determine the open screen size.

Clearly, this guy has a thing for the Samsung - almost nothing about the new Google Fold appeals to him:

From what I seen the pixel 9 Fold looks great, I haven't seen any videos yet does the screen now full open compared the first Fold ? Some concern's I hear it has a smaller battery but that wouldn't concern me .

I can't believe Pixel 9 Pro Fold comes from the same company that made the OG Pixel Fold.

I've just sold my 15PM and got myself an S24U - but the 9 Pro Fold looks fantastic; so I'll probably get that and sell my Pixel Fold on eBay

For me, it's size, specs and looks lay waste to the ZF6

They are that

I love the Pixel Fold; still think it's size is perfect and the weight doesn't bother me at all (I've just been training grip in the garage and holding 50kg plates for 30sec timed holds)

But that new, taller (still wide) front screen, larger inner screen and the new sensor really appeal to me
