Anyone found out how to unlock Galaxy Mega bootloader or flash a custom ROM onto one?

So a neighbour recently gave me a Galaxy Mega (6.3 SGH-I527) and, since Touch-Wiz is crap, I wanted to flash TWRP and a custom ROM to the phone. I tried using Odin but everytime I do, it gives me this;
<ID:0/004> Odin engine v(ID:3.1005)..
<ID:0/004> File analysis..
<ID:0/004> SetupConnection..
<ID:0/004> Initialzation..
<ID:0/004> Get PIT for mapping..
<ID:0/004> Firmware update start..
<ID:0/004> SingleDownload.
<ID:0/004> recovery.img
<ID:0/004> NAND Write Start!!
<ID:0/004> FAIL! (Auth)
<ID:0/004>
<ID:0/004> Complete(Write) operation failed.
<OSM> All threads completed. (succeed 0 / failed 1)

The phone, when in download mode, says Write Protection: Enabled and after Odin fails, Secure Check Fail: recovery will show up. I'm not an expert to Samsung and flashing roms to their phones but im not new to flashing custom ROMs. I'd like to know if anyone has figured out how to install TWRP or Clockwork to this same phone. Any help would be great, Thanks!

I found I had to use SuperLock Package Disabler in order to be able to Root my Samsung Mega 6.3. It will allow you to disable to knox programming without causing any issues. Once that was done I flashed a new Kernel and the Boot Recovery of choice. Then I used Titanium Backup to remove the Knox from my phone.
