Anyone get a fake notification for a voicemail?

This is not through a text or email. This is a notification. The number to call is a 410 number, & it asks for my pin to get my voicemail. Message sounds legit. But I get my voicemails through the visual vm app...

Can you show us a screenshot of the notification? Could it be a browser popup designed to fool you into thinking it's a voicemail notification?

If it's truly a notification, you should be able to find out which app is responsible by swiping down the notification panel and looking at the details there.

I would ignore it but if you can't then contact your phone carrier. There is no reason for anyone to have access to your voicemail out of the blue.

Did you interact with the message from visual voicemail ? Otherwise it won't dismiss the regular voice mail notification

Not sure what was going on with it. There weren't any new messages in visual vm.

Top notification is blurred out by me. Next is the new voicemail notification I received.

Look through your visual voicemail any not read and try refreshing otherwise the 2nd one which the dialer voice mail won't go away

I Googled that number -- it looks like it's the voicemail number you call to access your AT&T voicemail: https://www.shouldianswer.com/phone-number/4106934248. I saw that in multiple websites, so it seems legit. Doesn't seem to be anything to worry about.
