Anyone get the 4.4.1 OTA update?

A manual step by step would be awesome. Especially if you could include those "Mac-specific comments" that are relevant. I have used terminal before and am generally good at fudging around with this kind of stuff; just a little scared since it's a brand new device and OS to me (exclusively iPhone user from 2008 up until 2-3 days ago).

Quick question - I am at AT&T customer. They support the phone but aren't actively selling it. Does anyone know how I'll get the update? Will I be notified OTA or do I need to manually update it?

Anybody on Straight Talk get their OTA? I'm running stock, not unlocked with the LTE sim. How does OTA work, only over cell networks, or could it also be downloaded over a wifi connection, similar to when the phone ran an update brand new out of the box?

Ol so i didn't receive the 4.4.1 and 4.4.2 here is Toronto with Virgin, but bought my N5 directly from Google.
I wanted to sideload it but i do not have sdk on my computer and from searching around the net it is pretty confusing. Some say i also need to download jdk from java. Anyways i downloaded adt bundle and i pressed sdk install and it says you should extract everything, i say ok and it tellms me 10.196 files to extract and will take someothing lime 2 hours/ Am i doing something wrong? Is it this correct? I am using a windows 8 computer I5 with 8GB ram and that seems long to me.
Any help would be appreciated.

I am on AT&T too. We get updates directly OTA from Google. Still waiting though hopefully sooner than later.

Where Nexus 5 loses WiFi connection and the WiFi setting symbol under settings turns orange. That has been when other devices have no problems and where the connection is truly strong.
Massive thread on this issue on Google product support forum.
Also a thread here with people discussing it, too.
Numerous efforts to fix with mixed results.
Finally my Nexus 5 got better when I checked avoid weak connections in advanced WiFi settings.
Hopefully new update eliminates this issue for the many of us who have faced it.

I can't sideload 4.4.2 onto my N4 for some reason. I also tried it with 4.4.1 and the result is something along the lines of "Unexpected contents in PrebuiltGmsCore.apk" or something then it aborts the process. I've been looking almost everywhere for help. I'm hoping the new updates will also fix the problem I'm having with the google play store. I haven't been able to open it since sideloading 4.4 and I didn't download a file manager so I couldn't sideload a google play apk onto it. Also I'm constantly being spammed with "Unfortunately, Google Play Store has stopped." and it gets in the way. I can clear the data and the cache but nothing happens. Please help.

I got sick of waiting so I sideloaded it to my N5

I'm not sure what you're doing but I followed the instructions here which still work fine for the Nexus 4, 5 and 7 I used it on via adb for Mac. Make sure you've the latest SDK from Google as well.
