I purposely bought my P6 directly from Google to avoid Verizon's interference, but it seems they got their claws into anyway. Google should have enough clout to get the carriers out of the loop like Apple does.

Tried to sideload it just now on my P6 and it stopped the update and said the package date was older than the currently installed (April) system.

I wonder if our late April Verizon update included this update since it only came a few days ago.
