Anyone get the MD4 update OTA yet?

I would love to do the manual update...I did it for MB1 (thanx SkunkApe)...but a few weeks ago my SD card took a dirt nap...since I don't have a computer there aint much i can do...bought a new one...wont mount...my phone keeps saying it has errors (brand new)...but I use Dropbox...so I must learn smartphone patience...HA!!!

If you can use Dropbox to copy the file to your internal SD card, that will work to0.

As for the SD card, have you tried reformatting it in the phone?

You can download mobile Odin from the play store and use it just like Odin on a computer. If you need to use Odin without a computer. And for this update you just download the file go into recovery and update.

If you're not rooted, copy the file that's linked in post #1 to the root directory of your internal SD card. Then just follow the steps on Post #1.

I am not rooted (mores the pitty)...this is only my 2nd Android and MAY have to get a computer so I can really TURN THIS MOTHA OUT!!!!...HA!!...thanx Meyerweb...I'll give that a shot!

Oh...I dont even remember...its been weeks since I cared...LOL...I did google the issue...folks kept sayin Fat32..with no computer it was a non-issue. My phone works fine.

Ok, I downloaded the update from qbking77's website and it downloaded to the phone not the sd card, how the heck do I transfer the download to the sd card. This is very frustrating. Non rooted s3. Thanks for any help on this.

I downloaded it to my computer, and then transferred it to the card. If you can plug your S3 into the computer, you'll be able to access the internal and external cards of the phone as if they were external hard drives for the PC. You could then just drag the file to the external card.

Since you already downloaded it, there's an app on the phone called Myfiles that you can use to move or copy the file from the internal storage to the SD card.
