Anyone get the multi-touch KB working?

I got the APK installed but cant seem to get it working properly. I've went to Settings -> Language & Keyboard and have the 'Multi-touch keyboard" checked off but when I open a new text box to type and click on a key and then try and clck on another, it doesn't work.. anyone else get this working properly?

Hold down on the text field for SMS, then choose the input method to the multitouch keyboard.

is this for rooted phones or any Inc can load the APK file and use?

It works on mine perfectly. I have to say I like it a lot. It is not better then swype but I think it maybe be better then the stock HTC keyboard.

I guess there are instuctions on how to install it where you get the APK file? I know there's an article on the home page with links to downloads from the X but I haven't checked the links out to know if they are just the files or if they come with instructions.

It's fairly simple once you know how.. use Astro to install the APK, go into Language & Keyboards in settings and enable the MT Keyboard.

then press and hold on a text box(new sms, email, whatever) and select "Input Selection" and change it from the default to the MT keyboard.
