Anyone get the rumored upgrade yet?

People in the soak test group haven't even gotten theirs yet. I'd be surprised if the general public got theirs today

Rezound guy here. Been chatting with some Razr owners and they've gotten nothing. It's depressing me because my phone is on the same leak as you guys. Major bummer.

Isn't it more important to be stable and good for your phone than to be rushed out because we all want the newest OS? My Maxx has been working flawlessly for a month. A stark contrast to my Samsung Charge for 8 months. So if getting it right is highest priority, I'm all for being patient.

Couldn't have said it better. I use my Maxx for work, home, and play. I need it to work correctly. I don't have the time or inclination to establish work-arounds for poorly designed code. Patience is key, even though I'm a bit excited about ICS.

Agreed. After HTC broke my DInc a time or two, I will gladly wait and hope everyone gets it right this time.

I don't know what you guys are waiting for
I had ICS on GN for a month and it's nothing special, just poorly located menu button that's in a different spot in every app and a different homescreen dock.
ADW and ICS theme will pretty much get you the same thing

You are just intent on spreading lies and misinformation aren't you? The menu button is not 'in a different spot in every app'. Apps that have been updated for ICS have it on the top or bottom 'action bars'. The placement depends on where the developer places things on the action bars. If the app has not been updated for ICS, the button goes next to the software buttons at the bottom of the screen. This is common knowledge.

Hopefully Motorola does you all right on your update, but don't wish to hard for something you end up regretting. I couldn't Waite for the Gbread update when I had my x, and when it came out it caused more problems than it fixed. Waiting sucks, but fast doesn't matter if it screws up your phone.

I don't appreciate your personal attacks. You were following me around the GN forum praising how good that POS was and now you're on this forum?
I have a right to express my opinion and feel that the menu button is poorly placed and is in different places depending on the app.
Please stop reading and responding to my posts

Peace, everybody. We're all in this together.

And just a little more patience for ICS. Trust me.

This is a forum dude. If you post in it, people have the right to respond to you. I'm not following you around. I use tapatalk and it posts threads that are new and unread.

The placement of the menu button has been discussed at length, and how it is placed within an app depends on the factors mentioned above. It is not placed poorly if you understand how ICS was designed and how legacy apps function with the new software.

I think you're failing to understand my point, dude
Why do you think the iPhone is the number 1 brand smartphone in the world?
Because of its intuitive controls and ease of use.
I don't care how ICS was designed I don't want to hunt for a menu button and remember where it is on every screen of every app. If GN is any indication of how ICS is going to function I prefer Maxx with gingerbread.
Cheers
