Anyone get this forced "for your security" pattern unlock quite often?

I see this every couple hours or when I wake up in the morning from my sleep. Any reason or any way to get this to not happen so often? Verizon variant. Screenshot_20200708-120858_One%20UI%20Home.jpeg

You normally use face lock? If you do, if the phone is inactive for 4 hours or every 24 hours I believe then you have to use the more secure login (pattern or password). Search your setting for unlocking with biometrics for the details

Yeah I have face, finger and pattern. I never leave it more than 8 hours alone, which is when I sleep.

All Android phones will do this to some extent for increased security. It happens on my Pixel 3 XL.

My S10 will ask me to use my PIN every so often. I kind of like that, TBH. Shows me that my phone is working as it should and is trying to keep my information protected.

Oh thanks for the tip. No I never liked auto restarts. Im guessing its normal to do that when I wake up or every 4 hours like it says on biometrics settings
Every few hours its a Android security feature, also make sure in Device care u don't have auto restart for optimization on

To avoid making another thread. Do you know how to get rid of the "phone is starting" boot up screen? I've searched everywhere and can't find it for S20 Ultra Vzw.
