Anyone had screen failure on their Pixel 2?

I bought my Pixel 2 direct from Google this year for peace of mind as far as warranty goes. Good job I did. My first unit had screen failure and had to be replaced. Google replaced it with a new unit which now has an intermittent screen fault two months later (the phone whines, is then unresponsive, then the screen goes black with horizontal white lines on it).

Google have been fantastic. Excellent service. I've said if I am unlucky enough to have problems with the 3rd then I'll pay the extra to exchange for a 2XL!

I'll always buy from Google now based on the service I've had from them.

I've not heard much about this issue with the smaller pixel. And you get two in a row, unbelievable! Hope third times a charm.

I too buy direct from Google and always add the bargain priced extended protection! :)
 
Had total screen failure on my pixel 2, 45 days after purchase. Contacted Google support, went through a quick troubleshooting via chat & they agreed to send me a new pixel 2.

Great customer service. 👍🏻
