Anyone have a 6P on Sprint??

I've been told it can be difficult to get activated and that in some markets you'll need a new SIM card (same markets an iPhone needs a new SIM).

But they are fully supported on Sprint.

I think I heard they would not support it.

I have a 6P on Sprint, the only thing you need is a new sim card.
SIMGLW446C
SKU: CZ2144LWC
UPC: 019962040146
"WW GEM LTE+GSM REM 4FF CSIM V5"
Use that info, and when you do call/web chat with int'l support. Regular support is.... lacking in knowledge when it comes to Sim cards. They ship it to you for free, unless you want expedited (overnight) then it's $10 or something.

** I also forgot to add, your may have to call/web chat with someone to have them verify your sim card/imei info. I know PiTA, but after that clear sailing.**

I had two on Sprint before I switched to T-Mobile. They were no trouble at all to activate at the store, and worked perfectly on the Sprint network.

Project fi uses T-Mobile and Sprint network towers. Yes it will work on Sprint.

If you can live with Sprint then Project FI would be the better option because it uses both Sprint and T-Mobile which should give you somewhat better coverage and it will work internationally.

Only if you don't depend on data a lot and are around wifi most of your time. Otherwise, it will be a much more expensive option.

I have one on Sprint, bought it at Best Buy, went across the parking lot to a Sprint store and they installed the new sim and did the imei swap right there free of charge.

Been on Sprint since I got the 6P and had to go through a SIM card hassle with Sprint.
(Sprint tech idiots giving out wrong SIM cards early on when the Nexus 6P and 5 were released).
With Sprint you will LOSE: Wi-Fi calling and their proprietary apps for Voicemail, Dialing, Contacts ...

The 6P can pickup a strong Sprint signal in any room in the house, #$@!* Samsung phones required a window for a signal.
Sprint charges for voicemail transcription, its free with Google.
Google's Voicemail SUCKS in set-up and features - it's bare bones.

I have it on sprint and walked into a sprint store and got a sim put right in. No wrong sim issue at all in my store. Been working better than any other phone I've had.
