Anyone have experience with Pelican Cases?

Pelican has a few cases available for the S10+, including the Adventurer, Voyager and Shield. From looking at them, the Shield seems to be the most rugged; unless I'm wrong and it's the Voyager? Does anyone have experience with those cases? How does it compare to the UAG Monarch and the OtterBox Defender, in terms of which case has the highest raised edges and lip? I'm looking for as much protection for the screen as possible, without compromising the functionality.

The Shield is the most rugged however adds a considerable amount of bulk to the device. I have used Pelican cases on various devices throughout the years and have never had any issues.

I did hold the Pelican Shield in hand over the weekend, and despite the bulk which I don't mind, the back is rather slick to me.

My Pelican Shield should arrive today. I am giving my Defender a break to see if the Shield is better for Wireless Poweershare.

Would you please take a few close up pics with the case on the phone, especially the side view? I'd like to see where the case sits in relation to the screen.

The Pelican Shield has good lip at the forehead and chin. It is less than the Defender but still more than adequate. Navigation gestures are easier with the Pelican Shield . The Pelican Shield has enough lip doing a better job than the Defender.

The Pelican Shield is lighter and slimmer than the Defender. The Pelican Shield grip is different from the Defender and will take getting used to if you are a long time user of the Defender.

Camera cutout for the Pelican Shield is deep but not as much as the Defender. It is still deep to provide more than adequate protection for the camera.

Buttons have great play as if they were not there. Port flaps for USB C and 3.5 mm headphone jack.

Kevlar back of the Pelican Shield resembles carbon fiber found on super cars.

Is there any padding under the front plastic lip of the shield case?

Does it mess with the factory plastic screen protector?

There is padding on the back under the GS10+ that is the same as the Defender. It does not affect the OEM screen protector the same as the Defender.

It is super easy to install. Pop the latch at forehead and the two latches on the side making sure that they are full retracted. Place the device in the bottom half.

Place the top half so that it aligns with the bottom half. Secure all three latches.
