anyone have lumina 1020 and when will verizon get it?

Husband needs a new work phone and has narrowed down his choice to the Nokia Lumina 1020 due to the camera, as he frequently needs to take pictures on job sites of complicated wiring and mechanical setups in buildings. Has anyone used this phone? What do you think? Is the camera as good as the reviews seem to indicate? Also, company has a Verizon account, so we stopped by there, but they don't seem to know when the phone will be available through Verizon. If anyone out there works for Verizon, do you have any idea when the phone will be available? Also, did anyone have any major issues switching from android to Windows plaform? Thanks!

why dont you buy an iPhone?? Iphone has a good camera, best in class.

Verizon told me last week they won't do this device. They really didn't explain why except to say that the camera is the phone. Yea, I know. Not much.
