Side topic - You don't have do not disturb set up so that any other notifications other than alarm is suppressed? I can't imagine myself without automatic do not disturb set up for night to mute alerts during night. If not full night there will be some kind of notificationIt is a way the spammers get around googles spam filter. Allot of the time it will flag the message as spam but still create a calendar event. Mine seems like they nail me at 4 in the morning then my tablet and phone will start alert me of an event and wake me up.
Thanks !!! That was a great article to turn off these calendar spam adding automatically
I use this every night but emails still come through and I hate that. how is that DND if emails come through? I've given up and have just started putting it in airplane mode unless I'm listening to something to go to sleep.Side topic - You don't have do not disturb set up so that any other notifications other than alarm is suppressed? Hmm not sure if you have added any exceptions. I have been using do not disturb on multiple phones and no alerts other than alarms come thru. Are you saying you get sound plus notification? Sound shouldn't come thru and for notifications you can manage that in donot disturb settings on how you want it to behave. Also, check your donot disturb exceptions.I use this every night but emails still come through and I hate that. how is that DND if emails come through? A spate of new spam attacks are suddenly hitting everyone's calendars (if they use Gmail). You can easily stop this by quickly changing a setting using the link below (check the picture I attached before going to this link):This was posted from this past Sunday all the way to this coming Sunday and unless it was Wallpix or AODnotify I don't know what could have cause this to randomly appear in my calendar with alarms and everything.

Emails you receive containing calendar invitations - once you open and click "Accept" to the invitation - and only those - will still be sent to your (Google) calendar.
(Just keep in mind, if you don't stay caught up with your emails however - then you might miss some events that you did want to attend - as well as a bunch of SPAM!)![]()
