anyone having issues with screen not pinpointing your taps correctly..?

if I'm in a post or App trying to type/comment on something and I want to go to a certain position in it to fix something mistyped, I tap in the spot and it moves the cursor to another position, no matter how many times I do it, it never goes to where I tap....

yes, tempered glass on..... but it's been on since the start, and this just started to become an issue.....

I wonder if the glass might have started to separate a little bit from the screen glass in certain areas. Is it possible to remove the protector easily for a short while, just to test it without the protector on?
