On June 28th, one day after the announcement of the Nexus 7, I ordered it and also a case.
I received my Nexus 7 and am thrilled.
After not getting the case during the time that delivery was promised and also not receiving an update about it fro Google, I found and read the Nexus 7 forum here.
Details and bad reviews from those who have received this rubber case, caused me to send a cancellation order to Google on 7/29/2012.
The only reply I got was automated, informing me of how busy they were and that I should expect their response to be delayed. (I'm sure they meant their reading of my email would be delayed).
By today, Sunday 8/5/2012 which is 7 day later I have sent a total of 5 email requests and have still not received an answer.
My confidence in Google is sincerely shaken.
While their Nexus 7 product is indeed a great product, entering into a new phase of business one cannot keep under control, advertises a sign of incompetence, lack of planning, weakness and vulnerability.
Losing customers' confidence at is often a giant first step toward self destruction.
Look at Sears to see a good example.
I'm curious how many of you who read this are also frustrated about Google's lack of email response.
If you are, you don't need to create a long response, a simple "Me too", would suffice.
