i keep seeing all these posts about B194, but I am trying to see if they were just in the UK or overseas

I am hoping we see the update soon here in the states. Given the last update was April 2017 for security, does not bode well for US support.

So B194 gave you Sept security update? My note 8 is on Sept. Both on ATT and unlocked.

I am on b388 on my honor 8,with the August patch. My Verizon note 8 is also on August patch

In the US on C567 there is a Beta build B230, not sure of the security update, think its current
