Anyone know what type of charging port this phone will have?

In looking at a few hands on videos, I see a small squarish device plugged into the bottom of the phone. I'm guessing it's the charger and it doesn't look like a micro USB plug. I've been running motorola's for the past few years and was hoping that my car chargers and computer cables would work for the Nexus. What type of charging plugs do other recently released Samsung devices have?

Sweet! I love my Motorola Rapid Charger for the truck.

It seems like all electronics are going to micro USB.

I guess the contact charger never panned out.

Not when you have to shell out considerable lumps of cash for a proper setup. Unless you mod it yourself and use the Touchstone charger.


Its just not worth it. Anyway, it has panned out some. HTC uses it.

I'd prefer a contact charger. It's better for docks. As Phil says "it makes me happy."

No one has really seen the Verizon version of the phone. Maybe it will have it.

I was out of town during the Hong Kong announcement so I missed that. They don't go into much detail. Has any other device used these POGO pins?

They probably are for dock charging, but the micro usb also works for charging

I can't wait to have the bad bay on my desk at work. Charging all day in landscape mode and looking cool.
