Anyone know when Waze will be hitting Android Auto? If ever?

This is the single best feature that could hit Android Auto.

Without a doubt.

Or full Waze integration into Google Maps.

One can only wish...

Any news? Can't seem to find ANYTHING regarding Waze and AA. It's a no brainer for Google.

Waze has said that it will be in the car, but I expect it won't be a different interface. Google Maps in AA has already alerted me to traffic conditions, construction, etc. and I'm pretty sure that data is coming from Waze crowd-sourced events. I imagine we will see more of this type of integration but it's not clear to me if Google will allow multiple navigation apps like they do with media apps.
