Anyone know why the developers of ADW launcher abandoned it?

ADW was a good launcher and lasted for a while, it was the default launcher for CM7, it wasn't just a quick buck app.

I'm kind of latched on Google Now launcher now, but I like CM's Trebuchet also.

It's the gamble you take when you buy an app. I bought the app years ago and enjoyed it. If you are able to use it keep it! If not there are tons of other options as well. I have moved on to Nova Prime and love it! But thats just me.

Ah, fellow former palm pre user *waves*. So the reason i like ADW is i need the 2 up screen gestures (not just 1) and the down screen gesture, and i live for how they handle widget adding/seeking. I think that's pretty much the only thing i use the launcher for. Any ideas where i can find those 2 features? I also love their app drawer management where you can break it down into different groups and then swipe up and down to change group access, but I *can* live without that.

i'll give nova another shot cuz i really want the tranparent capacitive buttons bar and transparant notification bar.
