Anyone notice a lag using Swiftkey?

All,

I been noticing a lag when using Swiftkey. Anyone notice this? Not sure if the default Samsung keyboard is better, but I always default to Swiftkey, and definitley notice a lag/stutter sometimes when using it.

Thoughts?

I've noticed it, among other concerns with Swift key. The stock keyboard is so much appealing to me now. Especially after applying a theme.

I have noticed it a bit, but I had more lag on the stock keyboard, so not sure what the next move is for me.

Hmmmm... I've been using it since Friday and have not noticed any lag at all. I actually like the Samsung keyboard as well. I am just using SwiftKey out of habit more than anything right now. It has always been the one that works best for me.

No lag for me as well. Working perfectly fine and very fluid. Always used Swiftkey and still do due to just habit.

Hmmm.maybe I'll remove and reinstall it and see if that fixes the Swiftkey lags I'm getting.

I am not getting any lag on mine using Swiftkey (knock on wood).

It seems to have more lag then using it on my note 5.

Try using swiftkey beta. Seems to be less laggier than the non beta

I thought it was just my psychosis. Ive had this issue since day 1. Phone slowed to a crawl when typing anything at all, and seemed to almost bog down the whole phone in general. Just downloaded chrooma keyboard and its night and day. I hope Samsung fixes this ASAP!

What makes you think it's a problem with Samsung - especially since you downloaded another keyboard and it's working fine?

I stopped using Swiftkey a long time ago because it lagged on my devices. I use stock.

Not sure if its a Samsung issue or the app ie Swiftkey that needs to update their app since people are saying Chrooma keyboard is working fine.

Its Samsung. Not even 2 hours into using chrooma, it has begun to slow to a crawl just like google keyboard and swiftkey. its so bad I may just return the phone.

I notice when I clean up the ram using the device maintenance its frees up ram and starts to work smoother. Unacceptable that a phone with 4GB of ram and basic apps open that I would only have 688mb free and need to constantly close apps just to TYPE!!!!!
