Anyone order Pixel6?

Just stop at Best buy to see the pixel 6 and it's look really nice in hand.. I like the square design and the bazel is not that big in real life ..(just little bit bigger than the pro) after seeing the pixel 6 it's make me more exciting to get mine next week.View attachment 338062

Looks almost identical to my S20 FE. I like stock Android but Will definitely wait for reviews before ordering. Almost seems like it would be a lateral move for me other than slightly better cameras.

So in all of the confusion on pre-order/Event day I failed to notice that the free Pixel Buds was missing when I ordered the Pixel 6 Pro Fi version from Google Store.
So this morning I went to Store support chat. I was 16 in line. When I finally got connected I received a $10 credit because of the wait. Anyway the end result is that when the phone ships I'll receive an email with instructions on getting the free buds. Not bad.
I did get a $26 credit for ordering the phone. So that's $36 total credit. Maybe I'll use it for a charger or case.
C'mon the 28th!

I ordered both, the Pixel 6 will be for my daughter who doesn't want a big phone. I am used to phones like the Nexus 6 and Pixel 2 XL but do really like my Pixel 5 size and the way it fits in my pocket...So I am not even sure I will keep it. 90% I will but will keep an open mind. I might give it to my brother for a Xmas present if I really dislike it's size. I am not sure why I ordered it...Really like my P5...

I will use the telephoto on the bigger phone as there is always some interesting wildlife in my backyard or out on the golf course and as an old man I may be able to read better on the bigger screen. Tho I already have things sized on my P5 for that.

Typical American consumer getting things I do not need. I do love my tech tho...I still build a new PC every year just because it's fun...and getting a new phone is pretty much the same.

I never thought a foldable would be for me but if Google makes a foldable as good as the Galaxy Z Flip I'll get one. The Moto Razr was one my favorites and it is what I was using until the first iphone came out. Looking back it has been over 30 years since I got my first cell phone. I do not count the bag phones from the late 80's as the were not portable.

Just got back from Best Buy. Here's my P6P/Pro comparison photo. The Pixel 6 is on the right and the Pro on the left. Holding both there really wasn't that big of a difference. The Pro is the Stormy Black...which is actually a grey. I think the 6 was too but I was paying more attention to the Pro Stormy Black since that's what I ordered.
My concern was will the Pro fit in the same car holder as our Pixel 4a or will I have to get a different one. My wife has the Pixel 4a and I really don't want to have two phone holders on my dash. Without a case I think the Pro will fit.. barely. Hope so.

I'm just not interested in any of the additional features of the prep. And the standard model has much better colour options.

Normally I would have got the six for all the reasons listed in this thread.

Those reasons are also why I got the pro. Sometimes you need to go out side your comfort zone and try different things.

My last 2 phones have been the base models, this time I wanted more with the device.

It's kind of funny to me that the front of the pixel 6 resembles the S20 FE(with the borders) and the pro resembles the note 20 ultra. I love the fit of my ultra so if the pro has the same boxy feel of the note 20 ultra then I'll be pleased.

I went with the P6 Pro because what the heck. I do use zoom more than I thought with my Pixel 4a so I really want to see what the zoom on the Pro will do. I like the bigger battery.
I choose the Stormy Black with the black matte stainless sides being a plus.
I know it's expensive but for reasons I won't go into this might be the only time I'll be able to go full hog on a phone and not take a hit on the wallet.

That's why I'll be picking up a 6 Pro in Sorta Sunny, because I pretty much always watch my purchases, and make sure I never spend more money than I need to.... I'm basically a penny pincher. Sales, sales, sales, always on 2 year old flagships. Well not this time!! Daddy needs a new pixel flagship, and he's going to get it!! :p :D ;)

I just ordered the P6. I'm more of a "Samsung knight" but I always like have a secondary phone. The P6 is cheaper than the pro, especially with a trade in. P6 will only cost me $406, too good a price to pass up. That said, the S22 Ultra is likely my next phone. So I don't mind if the p6 is not as premium as the pro.

If they would have offered Pro specs in the 6 size, I would have bought it! I carried around a nexus 6 for 18 months and it was to big!

I went with the Pixel 6 for a couple of reasons
its a secondary phone
after my trade $500 in its only costing me $299.00 plus tax to upgrade
and it also comes with $139 ear buds (Will find a home for them)

Overall Im happy with my choice and the $300 price difference has been put aside for next years upgrade :)

The VERGE is reporting leaks about a possible Pixel 6a. A photo showed a phone very similar to P6, it reportedly will be smaller than the P6, have a 6.2" flat screen, no headphone jack, possibly powered by Tensor chip. To be released about same time as other " a" pixels... August.

Same here. Google offered $275 for a 4a 5g. So just $324 not including tax. Could't pass up that price for the P6.

I originally bought the 6 for price point, loved the green color, black rails, flat display and just wanted a smaller phone (also own iPhone 13 pro max). I've been waiting since the 4XL for Google to release a "flagship" again since I was really missing Google's flavor of Android.

Unfortunately, I am returning it, the display was way to bad in my opinion, the colorshift alone was awful. It's so bad I couldn't use the phone without dark mode and when you got to text with white background, it killed my eyes. Tried to use it a few days to hopefully get used to it but just ended up getting migraines.

I know some got lucky but mine, the colorshift occured at even the slightest movement. Looking dead on it was fine but even move it slightly caused issues. I got lucky and went to my local best buy the other day and they had 1 - 6 pro in stock so I bought it, the display is significantly better.

I added a line and got the 6 for 99 bucks. Too good a deal since I was adding the line anyways

I initially bought the pixel 6 from Google on release day the 256gb version. I returned that because T-Mobile was offering an upgrade to get the pixel 6 the 128gb version for free if you trade it in a pixel 3. That was too good of a deal to pass up so I got the pixel 6 and I also still have the s21 Ultra.

Notebookcheck.net is saying that the Pixel 6a will NOT be powered by the Tensor chip, but rather by the Snapdragon 778G. Which, I suppose means 3 years of security updates and not 5 years like the 6 and 6Pro get.
