Anyone suddenly lose book access (rooted only)

The Google store wants to update the Kindle app, this breaks the functionality. I don't know if this is going to be a problem for many or if I somehow installed it without knowing on top of itself. If you have this happen go to the Google market and uncheck auto updates.
