I'm thinking of trading my S4 for a One. I just want something different and the chassis and sound options on the One intrigue me. I'm curious if anyone else has made the switch, do they regret switching and what, specifically, do you miss from the S4?

I'm sure a lot of people have made the switch. Is there something that you really don't like about your S4 that's pushing you away? Oversaturated colours? Failing SDcards? Plasticy body? Performance issues? Touchwiz' existence.

I have an S4, and I like my phone fine. However, I get bored and always want to try something new, so it wouldn't take too much from my S4 to make me want to try something else. Therefore, my phone has performed very well...it knows it could be out the door and the upcoming Note 3 isn't helping my S4's case at all.

Note 8.0

Haalcyon, Sounds like I'm in a similar place. I'm not particularly unhappy with the S4. Just thinking of trying something different.

Well, I don't know about you but the black HTC One looks particularly good to me. However, I've heard, in the forums here, of some stuff going on with the camera that would bother me. Poor low-light performance. Bluish/purpleish tint be added to shots. I guess all phones have something that could stand improving upon. How do you feel about the LG G2 or Note 3?

Note 8.0

I haven't looked at the G2. I did look at the Note 2 when I bought my s4, but I'm not looking for something that big.

The G2 is a powerhouse with amazing battery life and picture quality (better low-light than the HTC One actually). However, the downside is the interface on the G2 is just full of craziness in its stock form (but doesn't understand what lag is, just like HTC sense, which is great). Look up some reviews for both phones, some comparisons and make a decision from there.

I had an S4 and was very pleased with it, and had no intention of getting the HTC One till I saw the blue on in person and that was that. Bought it right away, and do not regret it one bit. I do feel the overall experience on the One is better and smoother then the S4 and it has features that are more useful then gimmicky. Overall the One still is one of the best phones out there period.

I just switched 2 days ago. I'm really pleased with the quality of the HTC and the UI is better in my opinion. You will not be disappointed.
