I'm thinking of getting it, but to add to my collection. Won't be ditching my S21 Ultra in favor of it![]()
Does anyone know if any two models have flat screen?
Do what you want. Others' opinions shouldn't really have much bearing on your decision. I was all-in on the Google train for several years and, honestly, got tired of being in a perpetual beta tester group. If Google were to begin treating the Pixel line the same way Apple and Samsung treat their products, it might be an interesting trip. However, it's Google, so...........
Don't see it as an approval than more as a curiosity thing. I don't buy my phones based on others opinions, but sometimes I am interested in people's take on a product just to see how they think. At the end of the day their opinion won't effect my purchase but I sometimes like to hear what others think. This!
I really can’t understand these threads with “should I buy X smartphone”, “will you buy Y smartphone, because I thinking I will”, or some similar ones.
Your money, your needs, I really don’t think you need other people approval for what you will do with it. If you like it, want it and have money to pay for it, just enjoy it!

Thats what happens with Google , they put a feature in and dump it a year later lolGoogle makes good software whereas the hardware sucks. They continue to experiment with different hardware ideas then abandon them the next year. It gets exhausting as a consumer when you get used to the way Sammy and Apple are more consistent with their devices and features.
Just take a look at the history of Google devices going back to the OG Nexus devices. Each device was different hardware wise. I blindly bought into Soli with the 4xl thinking it was the future piece of tech that would be improved upon the next year. Face unlock was quick on it but that's about the only useful part of it.
As long as you keep this in the back of your mind that you will be Google's guinea pig when you buy a Google phone, then there won't be any surprises or unmet expectations.
At least Google has been consistent in their camera department, but that's mostly software. That's the only thing that has kept them in the game.
Ha ha right. You think they would have a forum for people to share their interestIt's so weird... Imagine wanting to discuss things you're interested in with other people who are interested in those same things!
Gross.
So y’all thinkthat Soli will be back ? I’ve heard they stopped it on P5 because of price point for that year ..now they going screen fingerprint and face unlock …or is it face unlocking like Samsung?
I am not sure Soli will be back. I don't think the little cutout hole in all the pictures of the Pixel 6 is large enough for Soli
