Anyone tried the factory reset?

Has anyone else used the factory reset yet? I did and afterwards I can no longer check for updates. I am just wondering if this is a flaw in the recovery. I had to exchange my tablet today for a new one. I just want to warn others IF the reset was the cause. Is anyone able to check for updates after a factory reset?

I had to do a factory today. Afterwards I had no issues with updates. Everything was fine.

I reset my tab before it had the 3.1 update (I/O tab on 3.0). I do notice that process.com.osp.app.signin always FCs twice on boot and sometimes if I try to check for updates, other times update check seems to do nothing, sometimes update check works (goes through a couple prompts). I haven't reset since the one time while on 3.0 so toss up if it would be better or worse if I tried a reset now...
