I would if it had 64gb of memory. The camera improvement alone doesn't see worth losing the battery life. If the Verizon Z2 Play had double the memory of the original Z play I would have done it.

I caved and upgraded. Phone is so so thin and runs really smoothly. Officially started using this morning so can't comment on battery life yet.

Using the SD card doesn't work for you?

I have a 200gb sdcard with my whole music collection which is around 12,000+ songs, about 120gb. Imagine using adaptable storage and trying to drag 12,000 files to the phone instead of just taking the sdcard out and using a usb 3.0 adapter. It would take forever and I'm not sure it would be reliable. I do have about 4gb free phone memory on my current Z Play so right now the extra system memory is no big deal, but it probably will be in the future. I am real tempted though. Many times I am yelling at how crappy the camera is but that battery life is just incredible. Is the camera a noticable upgrade?

Oy yeah, that's a lot of music! I used to have the same but have migrated to Spotify. That said, I do download some playlists for offline use on vacation etc.

I haven't really tested the camera yet.

I like the phone. It's snappy and takes care of all my needs. Battery life is fine, still better than most phones out there. Camera is fine. No complaints

I wonder if they will update the camera at all to allow for quicker caption abilities. The slow shutter is my only complaint and it's a rather important part of a camera phone for me.
