I was wondering if anyone has tried using the Micro HDMI port on the EVO yet? If so, how does it look when being used on your TV? And also, where the hell do you buy one at? Because i work for Best Buy and we dont sell them.

And yes you do carry it at best buy. I used to work there.

Just to prove you right. The mini HDMI that your talking about doesn't Fit b/c the port on the EVO is a micro HDMI. So...........you just got "OWNED!"Get to actually know your phone.
Hey ... LOL most of us had this awesome ass phone for over 3 weeks now and you ask if ANYONE has tried to use the HDMI ... Thats funny ... Eveyone must have had a long night cuz you should have been torpedoed at this point ... I will just say SEARCH the forum ... There are plenty and I do mean ALOT of threads on the HDMI port ... Including stories on what its able to be view on and not .
I got this phone on release day too smart guy. It was a simple Question. This is why i hardly ever join forums, b/c people always have to be jackasses.
How old are you..? If you're getting worked up over an INTERNET conversation. You should not be on these forums imo.

Nope, I hard a hard time finding a micro-hdmi cable. When I did, it was on back-order. Still waiting for it to arrive.

Their are a lot of reviews saying that the Amzer cable is not too good and to look elsewhere.
Its cool, not a problem. Thanx for the link. Still deciding if its worth it or not, bc i dont see myself using it much. Its just tempting to use it b/c its there ya know?
I just got the Amzer brand hdmi cable and it works on my sony xbr9. The video quality is ok and the evo and tv have no problem recognizing the cable.

No. I'm pretty sure that other bottom port is a speaker. Or maybe it was where the lanyard was supposed to go.
is actually not an hdmi port on the bottom of the EVO, its actually a serial interface for RS232 Micro Mini. You can connect it to your Sega Genesis and play Genesis games Via EVO. Pretty impressive actually.
