Since I now have an LTE version of a GW device, I want to take advantage of this by leaving my phone at home when I go out on the trails hiking, running, etc.
I downloaded music to the GW, used offline mode and then connected my Bose earbuds to the watch. Everything worked perfectly fine.
My issue is with the app for WearOS. I tried having the app on a different watch in the past, and the same issue occurred. I BT music from my phone to my car but every time I do this, the app launches on the watch and I have no need for this, as now it's a drag on battery life.
Has anyone else encountered this and found a fix? I may have to see about using YT music in offline mode but pay for Amazon Music Prime. I tried to transfer the downloaded tracks via Gear Manager, but the app doesn't download music in typical format.
