Anyone using Google Now launcher on S5?

Does the Google now launcher only work on Google play edition s5's? I can't find it on the play store when I look for it on my s5.

I'm using it, just like on the Note 3 and Motorola X before this. Love that launcher.

You won't find the compatible version in the store, you'll have to do a search.

I got it working according to the thread on xda. Have you been able to get the OK Google hotword to work? My Google now won't launch when I use the hotword on the home screen.

I've installed Google Now launcher only to get around the locked dock we have on our variant. Works well. I'm liking Google Now much better than S Voice. Dont really use any other features of launcher though. Am also using Cover lock screen replacement which is awesome.

The Hotword works with my phone when using the Google Experience Launcher. I also much prefer google now to S voice.

You have to install the APK (which is really easy to do). And nope, It doesn't only work on the Google Play edition S5. It works on a ton of other phones too.

It's not TouchWiz... shouldnt that be a big enough reason to use it???

But seriously, its very smooth. I used it on my Moto X but I am rocking Nova right now on my s5.

side loaded to my S5. enable ultra power saving mode. works well, disable it and back to Google now launcher notice that the shortcuts and some page are gone.

I use it and like it. The only thing I don't like is that my homescreen image is always spread out across multiple screens. Does anyone know how to make the homescreen image have the same dimensions as the lockscreen image?

I've heard ALOT of issues among those who take advantage of Ultra Power Saving mode. As in when the user disables UPS mode and returns to mobile mode it reverts back to how it was day 1 and all app icons are removed from the home screen. How true is this?

I'm one of those users who take advantage of the UPS mode, so that would be a pain for my use.

Just got my S5 today, installed now launcher and set it up with all my icons organised nicely.. tried UPS mode, disabled UPS and all of my icons are gone, even the bottom bar.

Highly annoying.. G now is much better than Touchwiz imo, will just avoid UPS until there is a fix for this...
