I am thinking about purchasing the Steel Connect and wanted to hear some feedback. If you are using it, do you have the MA 180 or the MA 225?

Thanks Gekko,
He is using the 180. I am torn on which one to buy. I am hoping to also hear about the 225. I had already asked him about his 180. He likes it but wanted to hear other opinions. I am assuming it "Just Works" like it supposed to but would love to confirm that no one has any issues with it before purchasing.

Yes, it "Just Works". I can't comment about the 225 but my thought was that it was made for smaller wrists since the bend makes the band come in at a steeper angle. Here's a couple more pictures of my 180 for you.

Like I said in the other thread, I'm very pleased with the M180. The only potential negatives I can think of are that 1) You will likely need to buy some new bands because the stock metal won't work with it at all and with the stock leather, you'll see the little cutout in the end of the band, and 2) you'll want to use shorter bands and/or remove links from metal bands because with the adapters extending out from the watch, you'll have more excess band length to account for. On the positive side it's well-made, it looks nice IMO, it makes changing bands easier and it virtually eliminates any concerns of the notorious cracked back issue with the Moto 360.

According to the website, both the M180 and the M225 are on back-order right now, so you may not be able to get either for awhile.

I spoke with the SteelConnect folks earlier today and they said that they expect to have stock again next week. Just purchased the M180.

Just a heads up...for me, delivery took about 2 weeks from origin in Malaysia to Texas in the USA. Also, luckily I was home when it was delivered as a signature was required.

There is also a whole thread on these adapters over on sister site, Connectedly (complete with lots of pics) HERE if interested. :)
