Anyone want unlimited data?

I'm want to make the jump over to T-Mobile since I would end up saving a bunch of money per month. Sadly, I still have a contract under Verizon till February of 2014. So I was wondering if anyone would like to take over my account via Assumption of Liability? I currently have unlimited data, 450 minutes and 1000 texts (you can adjust anything on the account, amount of minutes, texts, data, ect.). My monthly bill comes out to be $70.31 a month for the one line.

I could sell the line on ebay, since people are paying for Verizon unlimited data if you have it, but I figured why not ask around on android central (and no I'm not asking for money, sorry if it sounded like I was).

If you think this post is inappropriate to post on android central please just let me know and I will take it down ASAP.

Thanks, Dalmi

Link to unlimited data plans being sold on ebay, just scroll down a bit. :D

I don't see how it can be deemed inappropriate. I think it is a good idea to be honest.

You're welcome. I think if you want to try something else, it is a good thing to pass along your unlimited data. You're not asking any cash, just to take over the account. Can't see a problem with that!

I *thought* Verizon was no longer allowing people to transfer lines of unlimited data.

I would double check on this before making any deals.

They aren't. After June 27th you can AOL any of the older Plans but any Unlimited Data add-ons had to be substituted with one of VZW's new Tiered Data options.

Oh? I called Verizon and they said whoever took over the line would get to keep unlimited data, guess I should call again just to be sure. Better safe than sorry.

If the unlimited data feature add-on is still transferable, I'll take it!

(I scoured the Internet and stumbled upon your post, created an account here, but it seems that I need at least 5 posts to send PMs. :-\)

This reminds me of the term sub-leasing. I'd be afraid I'd get some deadbeat who wouldn't pay the bill and then I'd be stuck with it.

Well, it is called ASSUMPTION of liability. That tells me the person taking over the account assumes all monetary liability. Right?

Alright the line has been transferred to a friend, so if a mod could close this that would be great.

How easy was the process for you?
