Better focus. Image quality is sometimes better. Details are sometimes worse, especially when shooting flowers. Brightness is better. Low light photo is better.

The limited use I've had so far is that it is improved. Better focus, white balance, brightness, and low light. I would say a small all-around improvement. This is all-auto of course.

Yes. The ai adjusts the settings to best match what it sees but pics with ai and without are negligible. What I really like is the bright mode. Bright mode allowes you to take pics in situations you normally would not be able to. The quality is reduced slightly but you can still get good shots.

What I've heard is it isn't part of Oreo (Google), but would/could be a future LG/Verison update.
