Anyone who rooted doing anything with RUU?

I am only a week in w/my rooted Inc and I am enjoying it. I am still S-on but probably going to change that. Just wondering if there is any benefit to installing this RUU if I am running a cooked 2.2 rom anyway.

Noob, not really a benefit, because you most likely have everything that is in the RUU, minus some bloatware and widgets. I am sticking with what I have, and will wait for someone to cook up something better.

well my hboot is 0.79 have no idea what upgrading that will do and radio is 2.05 (I know I can get 2.15 from s-off) but I saw reported Battery Improvements in the OTA...

unrevoked forever has been updated so it has S-Off and S-On now. No fears there if you need to go back to S-On to return your phone for whatever reason. Not sure on the battery, as it's a YMMV thing. I've gotten good battery from the different ROMs and kernels that I have tried.

ok so i want to install the new ota 2.2. im going to s-off my phone it already has SR 2.5.2 with the 2.05 radio, im gonna stock everything after i s-off and install.. my question is after i install ne ruu how do i establish root again...
