Anyone with T-Mobile 4g coverage in IL?

Hi I'm looking into getting the Note 3 on T-Mobile's network but I have questions about the service. I Live in Illinois close to the Wisconsin border but I don't know anyone with the service.. I checked the map on the website and it says excellent service but the site I'm buying the phone from said it's only 2g in my area.. I am confused..

When you're looking at the coverage map when you are zoomed out, it looks like good coverage, but that's any type of service in using just voice. Zoom in an d it should be more accurate. From personal experience, you probably won't get great service around there. I lived about a half hour outside of Chicago and in was OK but as soon as I got about an hour away from a big city, it was cheap.
