Are any of the manufactures going to release anything new with a keyboard and state of the art screen quality. With so many manufactures and so many phones how come there are so few with keyboards. A Vertical keyboard would be awesome. Please give us some keyboard choices.

Because a real keyboard is a BlackBerry thing, and so many people think that is old school and useless. A few side sliders will always be around, but I honestly don't see any real push from consumers for a quality keyboard portrait formatted for Android.

I think alot of users would like a outer keyboard. I love the look of the new Blackberry but I don't want to lose the ease of android.

Droid Pro 2, maybe with a 4 inch state of the art screen, with a pullout keyboard.

I would buy it tomorrow.

lets make it GSM, with a tegra 3, 4 inch screen, slider portrait keyboard, android ICS, Lapdock (yeah I like Moto), removable battery, micro sim, micro sdhc, HDMI, USB Host, unlockable bootloader

Android meets torch with a better screen

Make it and I will pay, I love my android, but still miss having a keyboard.

A guy can dream

It is insane that the Droid Pro is all we have.... and man, that thing is dated isn't it?

Blackberry is in trouble and the Android manufacturers can snatch blackberry users if they would just offer something similar.

I still prefer using my old BB 9650 to the Android when it comes to real life, fast paced communication, texting, emailing etc.

But the apps are always there and up to date for the Android.... and this is all that Blackberry lacks, really.

Give me the Droid Pro2 and I'll make the switch.

The fiddly way of negotiating the glass screen on a slab phone is cool if I'm sitting around a Dentist waiting room, but when I'm moving.... it is utterly annoying and slow.

I meant to say that many Blackberry users are worried about their beloved phones and, if given a reason to switch, they would.

Right now, we have what? Droid 4 with a non-removable battery. Droid Pro... dated and forgotten. Stratosphere (in some ways, the best choice)... but a slider is still a bit clumsy in use. I had one... and it lasted all day with the extended battery.

Yeah I think most people want slimmer phones with larger, higher resolution screens. Adding a keyboard would simply make the phone thicker but it would be nice to see a new phone with this option.

Because the trend is larger screen and thin mobile body, the keyboard is disappeared these years. Maybe some years later, the trend changes and the keyboard come back. As others said, Blackberry still keep their classical style, that's cool.

The problem is that we are talking about current/upcoming phones; there's nothing in the foreseeable future coming out for we QWERTY lovers. While the Desire Z and Milestone were great devices, they are dinosaurs compared to the current smartphone market. We see all these great new smartphones come out with multiple cores, big HD screens, LTE, latest Android OS, etc - and the closest we get to something decent is the Droid/Milestone 4, which has screen tech from a year ago (and that was poor, even at that time).
